This study evaluated the sex-differences in drug-induced QT prolongation in human induced pluripotent stem cell cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMs) and found that females may be more susceptible to proarrythmias due to differential expression in KCNE1 gene resulting in reduced replorarization reserve.
