The authors of this study aimed to investigate the effect of two chemical epimers on the ability of PANC-1 cells to survive in the absence of essential cell nutrients, like glucose, amino acids and serum. The Axion BioSystems Lux3 FL was used to investigate the effects of these chemical compounds on the migration of the PANC-1 cells. The results demonstrated that both chemical epimers have an inhibitory effect on the cancer cell migration indicating lower cancer cell activity.
